Why Did Justin Lin Leave Fast X
Why Did Justin Lin Leave Fast X 2023? Justin Lin’s abrupt exit from Universal’s Fast X, the tenth installment of the franchise, is a major event.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lin has decided not to continue working on the movie due to a “major disagreement” with Vin Diesel. Even though he remains involved as producer, his abrupt exit means production must be stopped until an appropriate replacement can be found.
1. Creative Differences
Taiwanese film director and producer Justin Lin has had a storied career working on various projects. With an estimated net worth of $50 million, he has achieved success as director, writer, producer, cinematographer, editor on films as well as television shows throughout his career.
Since 2006, director Justin Lin has been part of the Fast & Furious franchise, directing five movies in total. His first work as director was The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift in 2009 followed by Fast Five (2011), Fast Six (2013) and last year’s F9.
Fans of the Fast & Furious franchise were shocked by news that Lin would be departing as director. He had been expected to direct both the 10th and final installment, set for release on May 19, 2023.
Many fans are wondering why Lin would leave the project, but it’s essential to note that his departure is only due to creative differences. He will remain involved as a producer and continue shooting second unit footage while searching for a new director.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lin and Vin Diesel had a “major disagreement” regarding script changes on April 23. The studio reportedly brought in another writer to polish up dialogue, leaving Lin feeling overwhelmed. At that point, Lin decided enough was enough and quit, saying he needed time to focus on his own mental health without being distracted by the project any longer.
Universal and Lin have reached a settlement that permits Lin to exit the project. According to Universal, any creative differences that caused his departure were between himself, his studio, not fellow producers, cast or crew.
It remains uncertain whether this will impact the release date of Fast X, which remains set for 2023. Once Louis Leterrier – a French filmmaker known for his work on Transporter and The Fate of the Furious – returns, principal photography can resume and the release date should remain unaffected.
2. Disagreement With Vin Diesel
Following his announcement that he would no longer direct Fast X, longtime director Justin Lin made it known that he and Vin Diesel had had an argument which ultimately resulted in his departure. However, The Hollywood Reporter now provides a more nuanced perspective.
THR reported that Lin and Diesel’s disagreement began in late April when Diesel entered a four-person meeting with new notes for Lin’s script. That meeting marked “a major disagreement”, prompting Lin to declare it wasn’t worth his mental health for this film to make.
Since Universal began searching for an Eastern Europe location and casting one of the series’ main villains in 2017, Lin and Universal had been at odds. But their battle escalated when Universal attempted to make changes that Lin felt were undeserved.
At that time, Universal also sent Lin’s script to another writer in London to refine dialogue and edits. However, this lack of support from Universal ultimately caused Lin to leave the studio.
No matter their artistic differences, there was still mutual respect and admiration for the iconic franchise. On April 22, Diesel posted a video to Instagram asking Lin how he felt at the end of the first week of shooting.
Commenters were quick to hail Lin’s awkward nod and “feels like” as evidence that he was being held back by his larger-than-life lead. On April 25, however, Lin announced his official exit from Fast X production – leaving behind only an awkward nod and a brief “feels like.”
After Lin’s departure, production on the movie has been put on hold and will now move forward to second unit filming while they search for a replacement director. Hopefully, a new leader can step in and get things back underway.
Fast X will need to find a new director quickly, given its scheduled May 19th release date. If they can quickly catch up to speed, the action series could continue its legacy as an iconic franchise.
3. Conflict With Universal
Following the success of F9, the ninth mainline Fast and Furious film, Universal recruited Justin Lin to direct their tenth installment Fast X. Lin had directed all previous installments in the franchise and many considered him one of their most reliable directors.
Lin is the director of five movies in the Fast and Furious series, including Tokyo Drift, Fast & Furious, Fast Five, and Fast And Furious 6. These films have collectively grossed billions at the box office.
The Fast & Furious franchise has evolved from a series of low-budget action movies into an international blockbuster phenomenon with an avid global following. It is currently the third most popular film franchise worldwide.
However, the series has suffered a major setback with the announcement that director Justin Lin will depart Fast X 2023 due to creative differences with Universal. According to a recent report, Lin’s departure is believed to have been unexpected.
Universal has yet to confirm the reason for Lin’s departure, but reports indicate there was a major disagreement between him and the studio over script changes on April 23. After an extended standoff, Lin finally resigned and left production, causing production to stop temporarily while they search for a new director.
Meanwhile, second unit footage is being shot and it remains possible that the film will release as scheduled on May 19th, 2023. At present, Jason Mommoa, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Charlize Theron and newcomer Brie Larson are still present on set.
Universal is reported to be spending up to $1 million per day on the search for a new director, an amount they cannot afford to lose.
Though Universal Pictures is understandably disappointed to lose Lin, it appears they will be able to find someone suitable to replace him soon. Louis Leterrier – director of Now You See Me and The Transporter – is reported as being in talks with Universal about taking over for Lin. As a suitable replacement, Leterrier could help get the film back on track quickly.
4. Personal Issues
Last Tuesday, director Justin Lin posted a statement to Twitter in which he announced his departure as Fast X’s director but would remain involved as producer. This announcement comes just days after the film started shooting its second unit and suggests that production may be on hold while Universal searches for an appropriate replacement.
Fans have been curious why Lin, who joined the series on 2006’s Tokyo Drift and directed Fast & Furious, Fast Five, Fast Six and F9, abruptly decided to leave just one week after principal photography began. It’s an incredibly abrupt exit that serves as a testament to how important this decision is for both Universal Studios and the Fast franchise.
The New York Daily News first broke the story, reporting that Diesel’s behavior on set played a significant role in their decision to part ways. Diesel, who portrays Dominic Toretto in the Fast movies, was allegedly arriving late and not knowing his lines when producers decided it was best for him not to stay.
Lin was feeling the strain, which ultimately caused him to withdraw from the project. Additionally, he expressed disappointment with the script being created for it.
Universal and Diesel eventually reached an amicable agreement that allowed Lin to remain involved with the project as a producer. Unfortunately, this comes as a major setback for Lin and his cast, just before they were set to shoot some of the movie’s second unit footage.
Now, reports indicate the studio is looking to hire Louis Leterrier – an experienced director of blockbuster action films – as their replacement. Variety states Leterrier beat out numerous candidates for the job and will join the cast and crew shortly after a schedule is finalized.
Though Lin’s departure astounded the industry, it should come as no surprise that he would become disillusioned with the process. Despite his extensive involvement with Fast, he never managed to create an excellent Fast movie.
In addition to his five Fast films, he was involved with numerous other projects both in film and television. In 2012, he founded Perfect Storm Entertainment to create content with a global perspective; this includes producing movies like Netflix’s The Stand Off, CBS’ Scorpion and SWAT, as well as Cinemax’s Warrior. https://www.youtube.com/embed/r1hFk0xlcMc
Why Nelson Mandela Was a Great Leader
Nelson Mandela was beloved and revered around the globe, featured in books, movies, and showered with awards and accolades.
Yet Mandela was also an individual who experienced gender and patriarchy struggles as well as personal failures. These experiences gave him the strength to build a solid foundation as a leader.
1. He was a visionary
Nelson Mandela was an inspiring leader, as he successfully carried out the vision of his country and brought about positive changes. His goal was a society where everyone felt free to live their lives as equals with equal rights; he tirelessly battled against racism that persisted in South Africa with all his heart.
He was an incredible leader due to his commitment to his community and willingness to work hard for them. He even sacrificed his own comfort and safety for the sake of his country – all with integrity.
Many leaders lack this quality, yet Mandela demonstrated it in his own life. He was always learning and never afraid to make mistakes or alter his mind about what he believed in. This showed through his example.
Another trait that made him an effective leader was his capacity for listening and understanding others’ perspectives. This skill was particularly crucial since he knew he would need to deal with people from diverse races and backgrounds; thus, having an understanding of their thoughts would enable him to better negotiate with them.
His commitment to forgiveness and reconciliation were of the utmost importance to him. He did not desire retribution or revenge, but rather wanted to contribute towards healing the country. Through his example, he wanted everyone to understand that everyone can be forgiven and work together towards improving things for everyone’s benefit.
His leadership style was ideal for transformational leadership, and its principles can still be applied today. The keys to effective transformational leadership involve having a clear vision, being willing to make sacrifices for your organization’s sake, and placing others’ needs ahead of your own. This type of leadership style is commonly referred to as servant leadership.
2. He was a leader of people
Nelson Mandela dedicated his life to the cause of freedom and justice. As one of the key figures who helped put an end to segregation and apartheid rule in Africa, he became South Africa’s first black president.
He was an incredible leader, believing that all people should be treated equally regardless of race. He did his best to ensure all Africans could get along and understand one another. Additionally, he showed kindness towards his employees by motivating them to reach their highest potentials.
His time in prison taught him to embrace pain as an opportunity for growth and learning, knowing that this would ultimately enable him to succeed in his mission. He understood the importance of learning from mistakes and persevering until success came knocking.
While in prison, he was limited in what he could do and had to be very mindful of his time. Yet that didn’t stop him from striving to ensure that he got out safely and that he contributed his skillset towards helping the people of South Africa.
Another reason Nelson Mandela was such an effective leader is that he never put personal gain ahead of people. This principle is especially noteworthy since many in today’s world only think about themselves. Nelson Mandela placed his people above everything else, even leaving behind some money to aid the people of South Africa.
Money was irrelevant to him as long as it was used for the right things and with worthy people. He did not want any of his wealth to go to someone unworthy.
He wanted to guarantee that everyone had a fair chance at becoming a leader in the future, so he ensured everyone had access to education and was aware of the issues facing their community. Furthermore, he made certain they understood how important it was for each person to contribute positively towards its improvement.
3. He was a leader of change
Nelson Mandela was an iconic leader who dedicated his life to fighting apartheid, promoting democracy and equality. He served as a role model for people of all races and ethnicities, serving as an inspiration to millions around the world.
He was an incredible leader of change because he never gave up, even while in prison. Despite everything that life threw at him, he never let anything stand in the way of doing what was right and never hesitated to speak his mind.
Mandela’s faith in the power of peaceful protest enabled him to spearhead successful campaigns to end apartheid. He and his fellow African National Congress colleagues employed methods such as boycott, strike, civil disobedience and non-cooperation in order to realize their objectives – full citizenship, land redistribution and trade union rights for all.
In a society where many leaders are tempted to capitulate, Mandela demonstrated the courage and wisdom to resist. He served as an example for his followers, motivating them to challenge South Africa’s racist policies in an orderly and dignified way.
Mandela spent his time in prison honing his leadership abilities. He read widely and learned the history of his oppressors, the Afrikaners. As a result, Mandela became stronger and more self-assured; becoming an adept speaker with respect for others’ opinions and views.
His leadership skills were put to good use when he was elected president of South Africa. He leveraged his position to push through a new system of government and inspire citizens of South Africa to fight for justice.
Mandela’s dedication to the ANC wasn’t just political; he also used his influence as a lawyer to advocate for human rights and social justice in South Africa. He helped found several organizations such as Umkhonto we Sizwe, a national organization of black freedom fighters.
He served as chairman of the ANC and played an essential role in ending apartheid’s reign. For his efforts towards equality and freedom, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993.
Mandela spent 27 years in prison but never wavered from his commitment to ending apartheid and improving the lives of his people. As one of the world’s greatest leaders, his legacy stands as a testament to his unwavering dedication to democracy and equality. A role model for young leaders everywhere, Mandela has truly touched millions of lives with his work.
4. He was a leader of reconciliation
Nelson Mandela, who tragically passed away in 2013, was an inspiring leader because he never wavered from his ideals. He battled to abolish apartheid, advocated for Black South Africans’ rights, and guided South Africa through its transition into nonracial democracy.
Mandela was an outspoken opponent of South Africa’s apartheid regime during the early years. He joined the ANC in 1943 and led numerous national campaigns against it, earning himself multiple arrests and 27 years imprisonment at Robben Island prison.
Mandela was an iconic figure of Black resistance while in prison and earned such respect within the international community that South Africa faced intense international pressure to release him. President P.W. Botha offered Mandela a deal in 1985 which required him to give up armed struggle, but Mandela categorically rejected it.
In 1990, President Frederik Willem de Klerk took over and began negotiations with Mandela to secure his release. Over the following years, both men worked tirelessly towards their goal of ending apartheid through negotiations and demonstrations.
After his release, Mandela became President of South Africa and served from February 11, 1990 until his passing on December 5, 2013. During his first term he made a strong commitment to economic reform and upholding democratic values; he also introduced measures to combat poverty and HIV/AIDS, as well as focusing on social justice through his Nelson Mandela Foundation.
He earned the title “Father of the Nation” due to his tireless advocacy for all South Africans’ rights. With his wife Graca Machel, he co-founded The Elders – an international group of world leaders dedicated to promoting peace and conflict resolution around the globe.
This group includes former heads of state and government, such as Desmond Tutu, Kofi Annan, Ela Bhatt, Gro Harlem Brundtland, Jimmy Carter and Muhammad Yunus. These individuals serve as advisors to governments around the world and support humanitarian initiatives.
Nelson Mandela was an incredible leader who worked to advance human rights and equality. However, his actions weren’t always popular or successful; sometimes his ideas weren’t even accepted by those he worked with. Despite these lofty standards, Mandela still struggled to live up to them. https://www.youtube.com/embed/qQaqiEFaJok
Is Patrick Mahomes the Goat 2023?
Tom Brady is widely considered to be the “God of Football”, having won seven Super Bowls. But can Mahomes match his feats? At just 26 years old, Mahomes already boasts two Super Bowl rings to his credit.
Mahomes is on his way to becoming the NFL’s best quarterback, but he still has a ways to go before catching up to Brady. If Mahomes wins this week’s Super Bowl, however, it could help catapult him to new heights of fame.
1. He’s young
Patrick Mahomes is an impressive quarterback who was selected tenth overall in the 2017 NFL draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. He has earned a reputation for breaking records and winning championships, while also serving as an active social justice advocate, joining other players to raise their voices against police brutality.
Mahomes was raised in Tyler, Texas where his father played professional baseball. Although he had an affinity for both sports – baseball and football – it was football which propelled him to greater heights.
Mahomes was offered the chance to play baseball at their minor league facility, but opted for football instead. After college, he made a name for himself in the industry.
He is now a two-time NFL MVP and the top-ranked quarterback in the league, having helped lead Kansas City to two Super Bowl victories during his first two years as starter. And with each passing year, it seems likely he will continue to improve even further.
However, he does possess some weaknesses which could prevent him from reaching his full potential. His high injury rate and inconsistent play, especially on the road, could prove detrimental in the long run.
Mahomes has proven his abilities to overcome his shortcomings and lead the Chiefs to the playoffs. He’s also made some spectacular plays in pivotal games like this one against Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season.
Mahomes may not be the best player in the world, but he certainly stands as one of the most thrilling and has the potential to go down as one of football’s all-time greats. Additionally, Mahomes has already signed a lucrative contract extension that shows his marketability.
His social media presence is wildly successful, boasting 1 million followers on TikTok and millions of views for his videos. He even appeared in a commercial for State Farm and married to his high school sweetheart.
Mahomes has the potential to become one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, but he must refine his game if he wants to remain at the top. He needs to improve on completing passes and finding open receivers.
2. He’s talented
Kansas City Chiefs fans know that Patrick Mahomes is one of the premier quarterbacks in the league. He’s earned himself first-team All-Pro status, Offensive Player of the Year honoree and Super Bowl MVP honoree accolades during his career. Mahomes has built an NFL resume that will be hard to top, giving Chiefs fans cause for optimism for years ahead. Last year, his numbers were incredible: 5,097 yards, 50 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He’s an exceptional player who can play for any kind of team; moreover, his coach has done an incredible job keeping him healthy so he can continue producing at this elite level.
That’s why he won the NFL Offensive Player of the Year in 2021 and will likely go on to be a Super Bowl champion during his career. Additionally, he’s highly competitive, enjoying to challenge those around him.
He knows how to exert control when necessary, which makes him an exceptional leader and ensures his team is ready for victory. That ability has made him one of the greatest coaches in basketball history.
3. He’s got two Super Bowl rings
When asked if Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is still chasing Tom Brady, Mahomes replied that there’s a long way to go before he can catch the Patriots legend. Yet Mahomes remains focused on something greater than NFL glory.
Mahomes is on a path that could place him in the same elite category as Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods and Babe Ruth if the Super Bowl goes his way. That could cement Mahomes’ place as one of the greatest players of his era.
As the starting quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs, Mahomes has led them to an incredible 44-9 regular season and playoff record that includes four AFC Championship games and two Super Bowl appearances. He also earned five Pro Bowl appearances along with two MVP awards.
Mahomes boasts a powerful right arm that ranks among the strongest in the league and an acute field awareness that allows him to make quick, decisive decisions. Furthermore, as a former Major League Baseball pitcher, he brings an unique kind of leadership to the locker room.
Mahomes, 23, has an impressive list of accomplishments to his name, including two Super Bowl rings and MVP awards. Additionally, he’s an enthusiastic marketer who puts his marketing knowledge to good use in various ways.
Mahomes is a rare athlete who has been given the chance to begin his professional career at an exceptional level. He’s not just another relic from another era, but rather the product of his own brilliance and the belief of those around him in him.
Mahomes has led the Chiefs to three consecutive conference title games and a Super Bowl win in his three seasons as starter. Furthermore, he has thrown for over 4,000 yards in each of those seasons.
Mahomes has quickly become one of the NFL’s most beloved young quarterbacks. He doesn’t hesitate to try new things and always strives for excellence – both on and off the field. It’s easy to see why he’s become such a popular figure within his position.
Mahomes has always had a special place in his heart for the legendary Patriots quarterback, even though he’s lost multiple postseason games to him. Their rivalry has only served to fuel Mahomes’ competitive spirit and this year Mahomes made two trips to the Super Bowl – once in 2016 and once earlier this year. It is clear that their relationship goes beyond football; Mahomes and Brady share an intense rivalry that extends far beyond the field.
4. He’s chasing Tom Brady
Mahomes has quickly established himself as one of the NFL’s most exciting players, but his legacy still has a ways to go before he can match Tom Brady’s. If he keeps up the same level of play that he has shown throughout his first six seasons in the league, mahomes may even become the GOAT before turning 38 years old!
Patrick Mahomes is currently the best quarterback in the NFL and his future looks bright. Not only does he boast two Super Bowl rings to his name, but also an impressive salary and high endorsement potential.

Mahomes is married to his high school sweetheart, Brittany Matthews. They currently reside in Texas with their daughters Sterling and Bronze, who both have their own Instagram accounts which Mahomes often posts photos of them on. https://www.youtube.com/embed/FiHGYoFGYS0
Why Patrick Mahomes is the Best 2023 NFL Draft Pick
Patrick Mahomes is an inspiring social justice advocate, both on and off the field. In 2020 he joined other NFL players in calling on the league to condemn racism after George Floyd’s murder by a Minneapolis police officer.
Mahomes led the Chiefs to a Super Bowl title in 2022 and is considered one of the NFL’s premier young quarterbacks. So why is he not considered the best 2023 quarterback?
1. He’s a better quarterback than Tom Brady
Patrick Mahomes was arguably the most impressive college quarterback in America. His athleticism, elusiveness and rugged running ability made him difficult to bring down or contain inside the pocket. Additionally, Mahomes boasted keen field awareness as well as a cannon right arm that allowed him to improvise with ease.
As an NFL quarterback, he’s already set high goals for himself and has achieved remarkable results in his four seasons as a starter. On average, he throws for 4,678 yards per season with 38 touchdowns, nine interceptions, and 295 rushing yards – more than enough to place him among the elite quarterbacks of this era.
These numbers are impressive and should only improve over the course of his 12-year career. Assuming he stays healthy and plays until 39, these averages could easily be exceeded or even surpassed during his prime playing years.
Mahomes is on his way to being recognized as one of the greatest players ever, but he needs some assistance along the way. After all, he’s still far behind Tom Brady in terms of GOAT status and trails seven Super Bowls to one – an enormous deficit to overcome.
He’s a much better runner than Brady, which has been instrumental in his success in the NFL. His powerful legs have allowed the Chiefs to build an effective ground game around him that gives them real chances to win games.
Mahomes boasts some impressive weapons in his offensive arsenal, such as two of the greatest receivers in NFL history: Rob Gronkowski and Wes Welker. Plus, with Julian Edelman, an emerging Hall of Famer, and a deep bench of other weapons at his disposal, Mahomes should have plenty of chances to make spectacular plays on the football field.
2. He’s a better quarterback than Aaron Rodgers
Mahomes is widely considered as the best quarterback in the 2023 NFL Draft, making him a great option for teams looking to bolster their passing game. He’s one of the most gifted young quarterbacks in the game and could become an iconic figure for years to come.
Mahomes began his professional career with the Kansas City Chiefs as a backup to Alex Smith; however, after Smith was traded away to Washington, Mahomes took over as starter quarterback and has been an incredible success for them ever since – leading them to five AFC Championship Games and two Super Bowls in total. In 2020 he was rewarded for his efforts with a 10-year extension worth $477 million plus another $26 million in bonuses.
Mahomes’ impressive football performance has also demonstrated his commitment to social justice causes. He joined other prominent Black football players in a video calling on the NFL to condemn racism, and backed basketball icon LeBron James’ More Than a Vote campaign.
Mahomes led the Chiefs to their first winning record in eight years and helped them reach the playoffs for only the second time in franchise history. He led the league in touchdown passes, passing yards, and passing efficiency during that stretch; earning him recognition as AFC Offensive Player of the Month for September.
He finished the 2022 season with a career high 5,250 passing yards and 41 touchdowns, ranking third among quarterbacks with at least 5,000 passing yards.
Mahomes has thrown for at least 37 touchdowns in each of his four seasons and finished fifth among quarterbacks in terms of fantasy points per game last season. Additionally, he ranked fourth in completion percentage and sixth in average throw depth.
3. He’s a better quarterback than Drew Brees
Patrick Mahomes is currently considered to be the best quarterback in the NFL and a top contender for MVP honors. His record is better, he’s more versatile than Brees, and has better weapons surrounding him. Additionally, Mahomes is much younger than Brees which makes him an attractive pick in drafts.
Mahomes has achieved great success in the NFL and is widely renowned for being one of the most popular players. He boasts an extensive social media following and is often featured on television. Furthermore, Mahomes serves as a brand ambassador for several different brands.
He has been an integral part of Kansas City Chiefs’ recent success, helping them bring home two Super Bowl championships. Additionally, he’s been a key factor during postseason play and widely regarded as their leader.
After being selected in the 2017 NFL Draft, Mahomes has enjoyed an illustrious career with the Chiefs. In each of his first two seasons, he has thrown for over 5,000 yards and now belongs to an exclusive group of NFL quarterbacks.
His arm strength is impressive and he possesses the ability to throw while moving – an asset essential for modern NFL offenses. Furthermore, he exhibits flexibility off-platform which further distinguishes him from competitors.
He is an intelligent football player, capable of reading plays and altering his strategy accordingly. Furthermore, his footwork and accuracy with passes even when under duress demonstrate his impressive talent.
Mahomes is considered to be a future Hall of Famer and will become an NFL legend. His incredible strength and will to win make him an ideal candidate to lead the Chiefs to glory in 2023.
4. He’s a better quarterback than Eli Manning
Patrick Mahomes has quickly established himself as one of the premier quarterbacks in the league despite his age and lack of NFL experience. He has earned himself a Super Bowl ring, two conference championship rings, and been named both AP MVP twice.
Mahomes began his NFL career as a backup quarterback for the Chiefs, but has quickly established himself as one of their most beloved and esteemed players. His success has been rewarded with lucrative contracts and endorsement deals that will allow him to rise even higher up in the ranks.
He’s on the rise and could become one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. Additionally, he’s one of the most marketable athletes in the league and will remain a superstar for years to come.
The Chiefs are one of the league’s top teams and boast one of the best defenses in football. But they also boast a potent offense led by Mahomes who has shown his ability to throw big passes to his receivers.
He has thrown for more than 4,000 yards in four consecutive seasons, an accomplishment only six other quarterbacks in the NFL have accomplished.
Mahomes has now eclipsed 300 yards passing in three of his first five games – an amazing accomplishment considering he’s only been in the NFL for two years.
Mahomes can continue playing as well as he has this year, and he could become one of the league’s premier quarterbacks for years to come. He has the potential to be one of football’s all-time greats, leaving an unforgettable legacy when he retires.
5. He’s a better quarterback than Drew Brees
As Patrick Mahomes prepares to face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 2023, he is one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL. With more than five years under his belt and impressive stats, Mahomes has established himself as a reliable starter with an impressive arm that can throw to many different targets. Additionally, his excellent field awareness allows him to get the ball to his running backs efficiently.
Mahomes has earned himself a place of honor among sports media and fans, having twice been named the league MVP. As such, many predict he will go on to be an impressive Super Bowl victor.
He is a better football player than Drew Brees and an equally proficient passer. Both boast similar stats, but Brees has won more Super Bowls and shown greater consistency at the position.
In 2018, the New Orleans Saints won the AFC South and finished with a 10-6 record. Unfortunately, they went 0-2 in the playoffs, losing to Minnesota Vikings in overtime. As a result, they ended 2018 with an overall 7-9 record before being eliminated from NFC playoff contention by Atlanta Falcons.
In 2022, Mahomes set the NFL record for most passing touchdowns in a season with 38 and tied Peyton Manning for most 4,000-yard seasons by an NFL quarterback (four). He also passed Dan Marino to become the fastest quarterback in Super Bowl era history to reach 90 career touchdowns passes.
Mahomes leads the league in touchdown passes per game and ranks among the top ten for passer rating, passing touchdown percentage, and completion percentage. He is one of the highly-rated quarterbacks in the NFL and will remain a major factor throughout the 2023 season. Furthermore, Mahomes remains a popular figure within the game with many endorsements that keep his name before sports fans nationwide. https://www.youtube.com/embed/aqHlBFDXg_Q
Patrick Mahomes – The Goat 2023
Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs is on his way to being remembered as “The Game Changer.” Already possessing one Super Bowl ring, Mahomes hopes to become the youngest quarterback ever to win three championships.
Mahomes, 27 years old and already the second-highest scorer in playoff touchdown passes behind Hall of Famers like John Elway, Steve Young, Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach – could surpass 90 by the time his career is complete.
He’s young
Over the last four years, Patrick Mahomes has become a household name and one of the NFL’s most talented players. He’s earned four Pro Bowl appearances, first-team All-Pro honoree status, Offensive Player of the Year honoree status twice and twice won MVP awards.
Even with all this, he still faces plenty of criticism. TV talk show hosts frequently target him and opposing fans have the freedom to criticize without having to deny his talent.
It’s unfortunate that patrick mahomes has to endure all this negative attention. He’s an incredibly gifted football player and also a family man, with a wife and young son.
His dad, Pat, was an accomplished professional baseball pitcher who played for six different teams. As a child, Patrick Mahomes often joined his dad on the baseball diamond where he received coaching from Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter about playing the game.
Mahomes has also acquired the ability to play guitar, an impressive talent he’s displayed throughout his life. Furthermore, Mahomes is an accomplished singer.
His greatest strength, however, lies in his arm. He’s capable of throwing over the center field wall on a baseball field – an estimated distance of 200-220 feet.
An NFL quarterback needs the ability to make big plays, which is especially essential in a league with so many talented receivers.
Recently, we’ve seen several young quarterbacks come out of college and make an impact in the NFL. They’re posting impressive stats and leading their teams to playoff success.
They must also contend with the national media and their fans, who frequently criticize them. It can be a difficult environment to navigate, and they need to learn how to deal with negativity effectively.
Thankfully, he has the support of his teammates and the Chiefs organization. Andy Reid, his head coach, has also played a crucial role in developing him into the quarterback he is today.
He’s also surrounded by a young and dynamic core of players, such as running back Kareem Hunt, wide receiver Tyreek Hill, and tight end Travis Kelce. With all these pieces in place, Kansas City Chiefs fans may get an exciting team this season!
He’s talented
